UX Research and Design specialist - Senior Associate
About the job
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Notification, Figma, Zeplin and Axure.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (specifically Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Working knowledge of G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheet and Google Drawing objects)
- Proven experience in UX design, presentation, good understanding of design principles and methods.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth user research, usability studies and interpret data to shape decisions and improve user experience.
- Ability to work as an appraiser - (good if available).
Job instructions
- Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and software engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements
- Illustrate design ideas with storyboards, processes and sitemaps.
- Design user interface elements such as menus, tabs and widgets.
- Create page navigation buttons and search fields.
- Develop user interface mockups and prototypes that clearly show how our platform works and looks.
- Prepare and present draft, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity concepts to multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve user experience issues.
- Change layout based on user feedback.
- Contribute and adhere to style standards for fonts, colors and images.
- Conduct primary and secondary user research.
- Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
- Conduct user and ethnographic research.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
- Design and implement user research strategies and methods.
- Presents research findings to our teams and stakeholders through written and oral presentations.
- The team is trained and led by junior UX professionals.
- Conduct usability studies with your users.
- Ask questions, collect data and analyze data.
- Experienced in various design and framing tools such as Sketch, Figma, Zeplin and Axure.
