About the job
- Adherence to nursing manuals and standards while on the job at all times.
- Observing doctor's orders and prescriptions and attending to patients' needs
- Final take-over and hand-over of the patients she was assigned, including a physical inspection of the patients' units.
- Checks her specific assignments, such as inventory checks, crash cart checks, and any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Plans, coordinates, and provides nursing care in a way that respects organizational principles and promotes healing, health promotion, and problem prevention.
- Upkeep of nursing records for all assigned patients in accordance with regulations, including notes from nurses, charts, consent forms, and data from the initial evaluation.
Job instructions
- Maintains continuity of care by communicating with all departments, internal clients, and external clients in a clear, succinct manner both verbally and in writing.
- Welcoming and acquainting himself or herself with freshly admitted patients.
- Gathers and forwards the pertinent paperwork, properly filled out, to guarantee quick transfers or releases. will go with any sufferer who is in need and defenseless.
- Follows the department's established protocols for performing nursing procedures.
- Provides patients and their families with pertinent health education and keeps records of it.
- Tends to all terminally ill patients, upholds dignity, and transports each deceased person's body to the mortuary.
- Participates in all required certification programs and attends all in-service education programs.
